Afghanistan, Iran To Sign Agreement Of Security, Economic Cooperation

Kabul (BNA) Presidential advisor on National Security, Mohammad Hanif Atmar has said that the agreement on security and economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran would be drafted within month.
He made the remarks in meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Afghanistan Mohammad Reza Bahrami here yesterday.
During the meeting, besides exchanging views on matters relating mutual interests, Atmar stated that working committees have drafted the security and economic agreement between Afghanistan and Iran and would be presented to the high ranking officials of the two countires within month.
In meeting, ambassador Bahrami said that working committees of Iran have also begun work on drafting the agreement and would include the suggestions and viewpoints of Tehran there in the accord.
It is expected that a high ranking delegation of Afghanistan would visit Iran on November 20 to discuss the proposed agreement in details with the Iranian side.
