Kandahar (BNA) A national security base near Kandahar airport came under attack of assailants.
According to reports, first a car bomb exploded in front of the base and then several assailants clashed with security forces.
Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai in a contact to BNA confirmed the attack saying the assailants attacked a national security vehicle repair shop in 200 meters from Kandahar airport.
He did not comment on the possible casualties of the attack.
But a security source in Daman district, where the national security base is located, said the attack martyred four civilians and wounded three others.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack, but security sources have blamed Taliban.
