Kabul (BNA) The Afghan security forces’ operation continuing in Sangeen district, Helmand province, which so far, 30 armed oppositions were killed in the last 24 hours.
Ministry of Interior spokesman reported BNA, during the clearing operation which participated by hundreds of National police, border police, public order police and National army forces, the armed oppositions sustained heavy casualties in Sangeen district.
The operation will be continued until the district to be clean from the existence of armed rebels.
Recent operation launched by them in Bostanzoi village of the district, 30 Taliban militants including foreigners was killed and at least 45 others wounded.
It is mentionable that some ammunition and 27 mines have been discovered and defused by Afghan forces.
Ministry of Defense also talking about the continuation of Oqab (Eagle) operation in the district expressed that three insurgents were killed this morning.
