Kabul (BNA) First Vice-President, Mohammad Younus Qanooni met Wednesday with German new ambassador to Kabul here in Kabul. Presidential press office said BNA, in the meeting, First Vice-President considered Germany as one of key donor countries to Afghanistan, adding Afghan people were always thankful of Germany’s assistance to Afghanistan and hopeful of continued assistance in the future. First Vice-President further said, “Ours and Afghanistan international partners’ efforts are underway to facilitate ways of final agreements between two presidential candidates in coming two days and Afghan people will soon hear ending election disputes.” In the meeting, Germany’s new ambassador to Kabul Marks Patzil said that Federal Republic of Germany was beside Afghan people and is hopeful that Afghanistan would soon reach a national unity government.
