Herat (BNA) Several villages of Shindand district, Herat province were cleared from existence of armed insurgent.
Joint operation of security forces was launched since four days ago to clean several villages of the mentioned district.
According to press in charge of Herat province to BNA, the operation was launched by joint security forces in the district.
According to the source, in addition clearing of several villages from Taliban in the mentioned district, they also arrested three terrorists.
It is said that the joint security forces operation was continues there till annihilation of armed insurgents.
Several heavy and light weapons and quantity of ammunitions were also discovered by security forces in the operation.
