Kabul (BNA) The country’s Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Prof. Mohammad Rassoul Bawari in an interview with an Egyptian journalist urged for presenting a real picture from Afghanistan, particularly in the cultural and art areas, Bakhtar News Agency reported.
According to the agency, the Egyptian journalist, Soha Al-Sharqawi who is the in-charge of “Dastor Daily” programs said that the world media, particularly the Afghan media are reflecting reports of wars, conflicts and violence, while development, culture and civilization are in Afghanistan. Minister Bawari, rejecting all inaccurate reports about the country, enumerated achievements of Afghanistan in different fields including historical monuments, historical heritages, theater, cinema, music, national museum and other cultural and art areas and said some destructions may have taken place due to the past wars.
He asked the Egyptian journalist for doing more to reflect a real picture of Afghanistan to the Arab countries, with Soha Al-Sharaqawi pledging to collect all the facts and exact information and reflect a real picture from the country’s culture and art developments to their countries, said the agency.
