Kabul (BNA) Chaired by acting minister of information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari, the first session of Nawroz Festival Commission was held yesterday.
In the session, acting minister of information and cuture stressed that Nawroz historic festival would be widely held this year.
He asked various departments of the ministry to suggest cultural programs that can show the cultural and historic customs of the people of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Prof. Bawari stressed that all media organizations should consider particular programs in their broadcasting and publishing programs for the festival.
In the session, participants delivered their visions in connection with modality of better holding the festival.
It was also decided that on behalf of MoIC, a suggestion should prepared and delivered to presidential office in connection with creating a commission with membership of representatives of ministries and relevant organs.
