21 ISIS Fighters Killed, Several Their Hideouts Demolished

Kabul (BNA) At least 21 loyalists of Islamic State for Syria and Iraq (ISIS) terrorist group were killed during latest air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan Special Forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
A commander of Sylab army corps in the east of the country told BNA reporter, 21 ISIS fighters were killed following the raids.
Several hideouts of the terrorist groups along with its military equipment have been destroyed during the attacks, the source added.
According to another report, Afghan security personnel by discovering and defusing six round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent series of blasts in crowded areas of Nangarhar province.
The mines had been planted by terrorists in crowded areas of the province to target Afghan security forces and innocent civilians.
At the same time, a weapon storage belonging terrorist group have been seized by Afghan security personnel in Nangarhar province.
Some heavy and light weapons have been discovered from the storage.
The militants have used the storage in their terrorist and destructive activities, local officials said.
