Tuesday, November 24, 2015

Kabul (BNA) The Pakistan intelligence service ISI tries to reactivate the political office of Taliban in Qatar under the leadership of Mullah Akhtar Mansour.
International resource reported that Taliban holding a meeting while Mullah Akhtar Mansour the new leader of the group was present, agreed to reopen the new office of the group in Qatar.
It has been said that in the meeting the members of the new office in Qatar also introduced and Mullah Sheer Estankzai assigned as the head of the office and Mullah Salam  as his deputy.
It should  noted that after disclosing the death of Mullah Omer the leader of Taliban and deepening inner difference among the group, on selecting the leader, the Taliban in Doha stopped its activities and Mullah Taib the head of the office resigned.
The reason of discontent of this group of Taliban from the leadership of Mullah Akhtar was due to the support of ISI from the new leadership of Taliban because Taliban believe, as Mullah Akhtar their leader, they would have open hand in Afghanistan peace negotiations and Pakistan programs would be implement by the group regarding to Afghanistan issue.
The establishment of several groups in ranks of Taliban has caused reduction in influence of Pakistan among Taliban, earlier enjoyed. Therefore, tries hard to bring together and closer the selected groups.
Politicians believe, recently the international community especially the US have increased pressure on Pakistan over restarting Afghan peace negotiations but Pakistan currently does not have the influence on Taliban that had earlier to use in the negotiation. Therefore, Pakistan for satisfying the world community and USA pretend that it plays its role in Afghan peace process talks.
Political experts believe, the formation of several groups, within Taliban, provided the ground for ISI to take more political and military benefits.
Currently, Pakistani intelligence service, for implementing its heinous programs in Afghanistan wants to restart the political of Taliban in Qatar to draw Taliban to negotiation table in one hand and  on other hand encourage some Taliban to oppose the process.
The Afghan politicians say Mullah Sheer Mohammad Abas who   assigned as the head of Taliban’s office in Qatar has close relation with ISI and is a confidential man of Mullah Akhtar.
The Taliban in Qatar in the only office of the group that openly carries its activities while the leadership of the group is living in Pakistan and carries out their activities under strict guidance of ISI but Pakistan has never verified the existence of them in its territory.
