Kabul (BNA) 11 armed Taliban were killed in a clash with security forces yesterday.
According to interior ministry , the Afghan security forces launched cleansing operation in the surrounding areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Zabul, Paktika, Urozgan, Herat and Helmand provinces, in which 11 armed Taliban were killed one injured and 19 others arrested. 321 kg of ammonium nitrate which used in making of bombs along with quantity of weapons were seized.
According to another report, six anti-vehicle mines which were planted in the relevant areas of Nimrooz. Faryab, Kunduz, and Kunar provinces were discovered and defused by national police forces and prevented casualties and destruction of terrorist attacks.
