Farah (BNA) Sixe Taliban rebels were killed and four others wounded when they attacked on Afghan National Police checkpoints in relevant areas of Balablok district of Farah province.
Jawad Afghan spokesman of Farah governor told BNA, the incident took place while, a group of armed oppositions attacked on Afghan National Police Checkpoints in Dehzak village, Balablok district of the province.
According to the source, six insurgents were killed and four other wounded during the clashes.
Afghan added, in the 8 hour clashes some weapons and war equipment have been seized by Afghan security forces.
It is mentionable that, a civilian and a policeman were injured following the clashes and the militants succeeded to escape from the area.
