KABUL (BNA) An agreement between the Ministry of Urban Development and the Beijing-Nangarhar Construction company was signed in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar to build 150 factories in Perozi township.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Islamic Emirate, attended the opening ceremony and signed an agreement between the Ministry of Urban Development and Beijing-Nangarhar Construction and Production Company.
The agreement has been signed to hand over an industrial park in the eastern part of Perozi township.
In the industrial park with a cost of $216 million, 150 factories will be built, providing permanent jobs for 13,600 citizens and indirect jobs for another 30,000.
In addition to the mentioned industrial park in Perozi town, it also includes educational centers, commercial and residential blocks, green spaces, mosques, and public parks.
