Kabul (BNA) The sources of interior ministry said in a clash with Afghan Security Forces 20 insurgents were killed.
Interior ministry said BNA, the Afghan security forces conducting 12 cleaning operations in Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunduz, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktia, Herat and Helmand provinces as a result of which, 20 armed Taliban were killed 5 wounded and 25 others arrested.
During the operations, 51 Kalashnikovs, 15 PK machine guns, 13 grenades, 70 kg hashish and other heavy and light weapons, a motorbike of the enemies were seized.
According to another report, the frontier police personnel arrested a Talib along with 2 weapons on charges of terrorist activities in the outskirts of Wardoj district of Badakhshan province.
