Kabul (BNA) 5th operating anniversary of child literature house was marked in a ceremony held by House of Child Literature and office of deputy minister of youth affairs and was attended by acting minister of information and culture Dr. Kamal Sadat, deputy minister of publication affairs for information and culture Sayeda Mojgan Mustafavi, media advisor to MoIC Haroon Hakimi and religious advisor to MoIC Rahmatullah Ander, officials and members of the house.
In the ceremony, acting minister of information and culture spoke and considered attention to education of children as guarantee for development of the country .“When better and further attention is paid to education of the country’s children, it means that attention is paid to development and sound society,” he stressed.
Besides supporting the children and house of the child literature, acting minister of information and culture asserted that today’s children were the leaders of the tomorrow and families and the government should pay particular attention to the education and rights of children.
Meanwhile, director of the house Ajmal Torman briefed related to activities of the house in the past one year and recalled creating of a financial fund for the house, holding seminars for children, publication of various brochures and articles about children through Facebook and social media and granting gifts to writers of child books.
