Kandahar (BNA) Five insurgents have been arrested by National Security Directorate officials in Kandahar province.
Samim Khpelwak spokesman of Kandahar governor told BNA, National Security Directorate conducted operation in various parts of Kandahar city, in which five militants were arrested.
According to the source, the insurgents had active role in terrorist activities in the province.
Khpelwak added the arrested persons are residents of Dand, Arghandab, Maiwand districts and Kandahar city.
