600 Books Donated To Public Library

Kabul (BNA) Copyright Department of the Ministry of Information and Culture has donated up to 600 books to the Public Library for its enrichment, BNA reported the other day.
The books are published by the country’s writers and authors in different fields of literature, culture, scientific and art, with the international standard number (ISBN) are included on their covers, said the agency.
Wahidullah Shahrani, director of the Public Library called donation of the books an effective step in the enrichment and increase of information resources for the Afghan citizens and asked the people to use the content of the donated books.
The MoIC Copyright department has so far donated up to 2000 books to the Public Library, said the agency.
Using the book international Standard Number (ISBN) in addition to helping the publisher and publication to be known at the national and international level and grants international validity to the literature work, also helps the publisher and author expand their activities in the region and pave the way for the published works in the international exhibitions.
