Kabul (BNA) At least 23 fighters of Taliban group were killed during air and ground attacks carried out by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in southern Urozgan province last night.
The insurgents have been targeted while they stormed on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Dehrawoud, Chaharchino districts and Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province.
Atal army corps in the south of the country by releasing a statement reported, 23 anti-government militias were killed and 11 more were wounded following the raids.
Until now, Taliban said nothing about the incident.
