Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces while carrying security activities in the country killed 28 armed insurgents yesterday.
Interior ministry press office told BNA, Afghan security forces conducted activities in Zabul, Faryab, Kandahar, Maidan-Wardak, Jawzjan, Badakhshan, Ghazni, Herat, Paktia, Logar and Helmand provinces resulted killed 28 armed insurgents and wounded 21 others.
During the activities amount of weapons, 52 mines and a depots of armed insurgents discovered and destroyed.
On the other hand, national police forces prevented 6 mines explosion on Kunduz, Kandahar, Khost and Ghor provinces.
