Military Operation Leaves 43 Mutineers Dead In Herat

Kabul (BNA) At least 43 rioters lost their lives during military operation conducted by Afghan security forces in western Herat province.
Jailani Farhad spokesman of Herat governor says, the operation was conducted to suppress armed oppositions and ensure peace and stability in insecure areas of Shindand district of the province, in which 43 anti-government militias were killed and 36 others were injured.
Mullah Najibullah commander and military district governor for the terrorist group severely injured during the operation, Farhad added.
Within the last 10 days more than 150 armed rebels were killed and unfortunately 6 civilians lost their lives in various parts of Herat province.
It has been said, an Afghan security troop was martyred and seven others were wounded.
