Farah (BNA) Two main regions of Farah province were cleanup from armed insurgents yesterday.
Mohibullah Mohib police spokesman of Farah province told BNA, clearing operation was launched by police and ANA forces in two main regions of Farah province, and that regions have been cleared from insurgents.
Heavy casualties inflected to Taliban in the operation, but exact figures is not clear yet, he said.
No harm and losses incurred to security forces in the operation.
According to another report, four planted mines were discovered and defused in Poshtrod district, Farah province.
The mines were planted in Cheen Afghan region of the mentioned district aimed a terrorist attack.
