Kabul (BNA) Over 11 armed oppositions including their local commander were killed following military operations conducted by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted by Afghan National Army soldiers to annihilate Taliban militants and protect the lives and properties of people in restive areas of Laghman, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Urozgan, Herat, Faryab, Badakhshan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Several insurgents were injured during the operations as well, the source added.
Some heavy and light weapons and ammunitions belonging the terrorist group have been discovered and seized at the end of the military operations.
