Kabul (BNA) The Afghan taekwondo athletes got 2 silver and 14 bronze medals from Dahai Fajer competitions in Iran.
Mojibulrahman Rahmani spokesman of Olympic National Committee said to BNA, the 24th round of Dahai Fajer competitions of Iran was held for 3 days in Tehran city and the athletes from nine countries had participated.
At the end of these competitions, the Afghanistan athletes, Masood Karimi and Nela Ahmadi obtained silver and other taekwondo athletes of country including girls obtained bronze medals.
According to Rahmani, in these competitions, the Iran athletes stood at the first position, Afghanistan athletes stood at the 2nd position and Armenian athletes at the 3rd positions.
These competitions were held from December 19 to 21 of the current year in Tehran.
