Six Taliban Killed, Twelve Wounded In Badakhshan Clash

Faizabad (BNA) Six armed Taliban were killed and 12 others wounded in clash by Afghan security troops in Badakhshan province last night.
The clash started while a group of armed Taliban attacked on base of security forces in Polsoch and Abraghak regions, Jorm district of the province.
Ahmad Naweed Ferotan spokesman of Badakhshan governor said BNA, the clash continued for three hours, in which six armed Taliban killed and 12 others wounded.
Ferotan added Taliban wanted to attack from three directions on the base and wanted to capture the regions.
He said now military operation continued by security forces to clear the regions from existence of armed insurgents.
