KABUL (BNA): Acting Interior Minister, Sarajuddin Haqqani, in a meeting with Turkish scholars, welcomed their recommendations valuable for strengthening the administration of Islamic Emirate.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, during the discussion, the delegation’s leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Sardar, emphasized Turkey’s historical links with Afghanistan and their shared principles.
He acknowledged Afghans’ sacrifices for freedom as well as the Islamic Emirate’s accomplishments.
The delegation members stated that Afghan mujahideen, despite challenges, have succeeded, emphasizing the responsibility of governance and serving the people.
The Acting Minister of Interior thanked Turkey, particularly its scholars, for rebuilding mosques and schools and cooperating in alleviating public challenges in the country.
Mr. Haqqani stressed Sharia-based unity, adding that they are bound together by the rope of religion and brotherhood.
The acting interior minister praised the scholars’ visit to the country and their suggestions to strengthen the Islamic Emirate.
It was also stated that the arrival of this team will extend and enhance relations between the governments and peoples of Turkey and Afghanistan.
