Kabul (BNA) 48 armed insurgents were killed in cleansing operations conducted by ANA forces in different parts of the country.
According to national defense ministry press office to BNA, the operations launched aim to eliminate armed insurgents in Faryab, Uruzgan, Kabul, Ghazni, Herat, Kandahar provinces in which 48 insurgents lost their lives, 20 wounded and 12 others have been detained.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons were also seized by ANA forces in the operations.
Likewise, national defense ministry confirmed that five ANA soldiers were martyred during their security missions.
