Maimana City (BNA) Nearly 10 Taliban insurgents were killed during their armed attacks on Afghan security checkpoints in northern Faryab province.
Abdullah Masom district governor of Khwaja Sabz Posh of the province told BNA, Taliban attacks repelled by Afghan security forces when reinforcement were reached to the area.
He added, ten Taliban rebels were killed and some weapons and ammunitions have been seized by security forces following the attacks.
