Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) Foodstuffs and non-foodstuffs have been distributed to 33 destitute families in northern Sar-e-Pul province yesterday.
Azizruhman Imaq head of counter-disaster of Sar-e-Pul told BNA local reporter, heavy snowfalls claimed the lives of 8 people including three women and had been destroyed 25 residential houses in Sayad and Sozma Qala districts of the province.
Also two people were killed, two others were injured and several cattle perished following snowstorms in Gosfandi district of Sar-e-Pul province, Imaq added.
The distributed assistances include flour, looking oil, rice and blanket, Imaq concluded.
