Kabul (BNA) At least 26 Taliban Militants were killed following clearing operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) during the past 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of Interior press office reported BNA, Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) conducted several clearing operations in relevant areas of Kapisa, Kandahar, Zabul, Logar, Herat and Helmand provinces, as a result 26 Taliban militants were killed, 19 injured and two others arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons have been seized during the operations by (ANSF) the source added.
Also Afghan National Police discovered and defused 22 rounds of mines in Dykundi, Faryab, Kandahar, Maidan-Wardak and Khost provinces.
