Jalalabad City (BNA) Up to 37 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group have been killed during air and ground operations carried out by Afghan security forces in various parts of eastern Nangarhar province within the last 24 hours.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA, the operations were conducted in different parts of Achin, Koot and Rowdat districts of the province.
Several hideouts and weapon storages of the terrorist group have been demolished following the air and ground operations, Khogyani added.
The ISIS adherent were targeted, while they were busy on organizing terrorist activities in the mentioned districts.
Casualties didn’t incur to civilians and Afghan security troops at the end of the operations.
