Asadabad (BNA) A senior commander of Al-Qaeda network was killed in an drone raid of American forces in Kunar province last night.
Belal Tayeb come under air attack in Ghaziabad district and killed with his two bodyguards.
General Abdul Habib Syeedkhail police official of Kunar province in a contact with BNA confirmed killing of the commander.
He said the commander with his two bodyguards was involved in a series of terrorist attacks and killed in their hideouts.
Several military officials in the east of the country called the commander national of Saudi Arabia and said that the commander organized most terrorist attacks in the east of the country and also supported financial and technical to other terrorist groups such Taliban and Daesh in the country.
So far, Al-Qaeda network have not confirmed killing of their commander.
