President Ghani Condemns ‘Heinous Terrorist Attack’ In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani called Thursday’s terrorist attack on the vehicles of Maidan-Wardak Police Training Center a crime against humanity, and ordered the Ministry of Interior Affairs to probe how the decision on transportation of the cadets of the mentioned center was made so that in the event of any negligence, follow-up actions are taken, a press release from presidential palace said.
Condemning the criminal act, the President said: ‘while Muslims are busy praying during this holy month of Ramadan, Taliban keep committing reprehensible crimes by killing innocent people and spreading fear and terror among them, the press release further added. According to Arg press release, the President called this heinous Taliban crime a sign of their defeat in the battlefield and said that with the committing of this criminal act, Taliban have revealed more than ever their callous and merciless nature. The President calls on the esteemed scholars of Afghanistan and people across the country to pray for the victims of this tragic incident in the Friday Prayers tomorrow and raise their voice against the crimes of the savage terrorists from the pulpit of the mosques. The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan offers his deep condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyrs and wishes full health for those injured in the attack.
