Kabul (BNA) 16 armed Taliban killed as a result of series operations in the south of the country.
The rebels last night and today morning targeted in the relevant areas of Nawa and Sangine district of Helmand province, Panjwahi district of Kandahar, Char Chino of Urezgan and Safa city of Zabul province and were killed.
BNA quoting from NATO reports says that the rebels while organizing terrorist activities targeted by Afghan and NATO forces.
NATO says three commanders of armed Taliban are among the dead.
It has been said that during these operations the Afghan forces captured a quantity of weapons and financial supplies of armed Taliban.
From these caches tens of weapons and hundreds kg of explosive and narcotics were seized.
The reports said nothing about the possible casualties among Afghan and Foreign forces and civilians during these operations.
