Under Presidential Decree Late Adeeb Khan’s Works To Be Translated And Published

Kabul (BNA) In a ceremony held in Arg’s archive, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani handed over the works’ collection of Late Adeeb Khan, an Amani era’s diplomat to two writers, researchers and culturists for translation and printing, the Presidential Palace said in a statement on Wednesday. During the meeting which was also attended by First Lady, at the outset, the presidential decree was read out by the president’s cultural advisor Asadullah Ghazanfar based on which Habibullah Rafi and Mohammad Asef Samim were tasked to translate and print the mentioned works , according to the statement.
Afterwards, President Ghani said that as a history student, it was a pleasure to me to re-introduce an unknown personality of Afghanistan’s history. The president added the works have been written in Dari and Arabic by Late Adeeb Khan are among unique works in the modern history of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Russia. The president instructed the relevant in-charges to scan the mentioned works and prepare them for the country’s 100th indepdence anniversary. During the ceremony, Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi, Asadullah Ghazanfar, Abdul Ghafour Liwal and some other participants stated their views and suggestions on importance of Late Adeeb Khan’s works.
