Six Armed Rebels Kill

Kabul (BNA) Six insurgents were killed and four hundred kg of opium discovered by police forces in Ghanzi province yesterday.
Col. Zorawar Zahid police chief of Ghazni told BNA, the smugglers wanted to smuggle four hundred kg opium from Kabul to Herat province, discovered and seized by police forces in Moqar district, Ghazni province.
According to the source the driver of the vehicle succeeded to flee and the drug has been delivered to police station.
According to another report, as a result of Afghan security forces operation six insurgents were killed and five others wounded in Ander district Ghazni province.
According to Nazifullah Sultani spokesman of 203 Tander Third Corps, the operation launched in Bata and Charkhana villages of Ander district, as a result of which six insurgents including their two commanders were killed and five others wounded.
It has been said, there were no casualties among security forces in the operation, and the operation is still continuing.
