Herat (BNA) Col. Abdul Qayom director of National Security Directorate of Gozar district of Herat province and a policeman martyred.
Sayed Aqa Saqeeb commander of Herat security commandment told BNA, last night the responsible of marble mine reported from entering of armed men into the mine and asked assistance forces.
He added, Abdul Qayom head of NSD and a number of police men moved towards the marble mine which faced with Taliban ambush in Sare-Jangal area of Gozar district and clash took place.
Saqeeb said, in this clash, Abdul Qayom head of NSD and a policeman martyred and Abdul Waheed Azizi security commander of Gozar district with a policeman injured.
It is said, an armed Taliban was killed and a number of them were wounded in this clash.
