Minister Of Education Leaves For Herat To Visit Educational Establishments

Kabul (BNA) The Minister of education left Kabul for Herat at the head of a delegation for opening some projects and distribution of land plots for teachers in Herat.
Farouq Wardak at this visit will observe further improvement of education by using the USD250 million aid of the World Bank to be executed till the end of 1393.
According to the minister by usage of this aid 10 important construction projects will be completed in Herat and aid will also used for raising the working capacity of teachers, principals and undertaken of Masters’ program for the teachers of that province.
Of this aid USD 300, 000 will be used for creation of an attachment of Teachers’ College, USD800, 000 to be used for provision of potable water for 18 school children and procurement of health facilities and completion of 14 incomplete projects in Herat.
He added that membership of the ministry of education of Afghanistan at the international education participation and attaining of financial assistance from this source is a reliable outlet for implementation of national programs and during the coming year the ministry will be able to employ talented and experienced teachers in 13 provinces and enroll around 3 million of deprived school students at the country’s schools.
He added that till the end of this year residential townships will be opened in 9 districts of that province and in the meeting with the elders and influential emphasis was made on improving education with the cooperation of the people.
