Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, chairing a meeting Sunday, directed the related organs to provide a timely specified plan to help remove traffic problems in the capital Kabul, his office said in a statement.
Addressing the Kabul mayor, the president said that people wanted a practical plan to help remove traffic problems and directed the draft plan to be provided within two weeks, said the statement. “UP to 34 government administrations would be transferred in Darul Aman area, a plan would help highly overcome traffic challenges, as well as work to assess the two sides of the Kabul River, should be started for creating green areas,” said the president in the statement.
According to the president, plan to establish roadside parking along the entire capital roads should be started. “We are not yet in a decision making phase, but different ways should be studied in this field.
