Baryal Medal Conferred To Martyr Abdul Matin

Kabul (BNA) In line with the proposal of the office of First Vice-President and approval by president, the courage medal “Baryal” was conferred to late Abdul Matin an officer of the Quick Reaction Unit and was handed over to his brother in Kabul yesterday.
The late Matin lost his life in a road accident after returning from Jowzjan where he attended a Taliban surrendering ceremony the other day was buried in Kabul.
The First Vice-President, General Abdul Rashid Dostum besides expressing sympathy with the family of late Matin also presented 13,000 US dollar in cash to his family. The Vice-President also pledged to spare no efforts in facilitating the children of late Matin to get education.  According to another report, chairman senate Fazel Hadi Muslimyar in meeting with the police chief of Paktia province, Zalmai Oryakhil here yesterday lauded his efforts in ensuring security and law & order in the province. By presenting appreciation letter to Paktia police chief, the senate chairman wished him more success.
