Enemies Can Never Bring Sectarian Differences, President Ghani

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting with families of victims of the Al-Zahra mosque suicide bombing at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday said Afghanistan’s enemies could never divide the followers of different sects of Islam in the country.
A statement from the Presidential Palace said the president once again offered his condolences and sympathies to the victims’ families. The president described the martyred Haji Ramazan a kind person, saying he used to spend his wealth for the welfare of people and he would act as a good reformer in the society. He thanked Nawabi and Nabizada’s families for their sacrifice while serving as human shields against the insurgents’ attack. President Ghani prayed for the departed souls. “I have issued orders aimed at hailing the sacrifices of Martyred Nawabi, Nabizada and the martyrs of Zanbaq Square bombing and about giving special attention to victims’ families.”
The statement added later Haji Ramazan Hussainzada’s son, Haji Abdul Hussain Ramazanzada, spoke on the occasion while thanking the president for condoling with the victims’ families, asked President Ghani to identify the incident’s perpetrators and punish them. At the same time, Azizullah Ahmadi, addressing the meeting on behalf of victims presented the issues of Dasht-e-Barchi area people, saying it was a populous area: therefore, another police district establishment was necessary there. He said the area roads should be expanded and a road should be named after Haji Ramazan Hussainzada in recognition of his sacrifice. Ahmadi said Haji Ramazan’s elder son should be appointed as senator for maintain the relation between the government and people.
