Kabul (BNA) The officials of national security department arrested a suicide attacker from Watapoor district of Kunar province.
The suspect named Khelwat is a resident of Mohmand Dara district of Nangarhar province.
The source said, the arrested man confessed to his crimes and claimed that he was attracted by commanders of Taliban to the ranks of that group and trained to use suicide vests.
He insisted that he was trained by Pakistani experts on the other side of Durand Line and intended to carry out terrorist attack on military base of Watapoor district in Nangarhar province.
Fortunately, the suicide attacker was spotted by officials of national security department of that province before carrying suicide attack and arrested.
