Herat (BNA) The reconstruction work of ninth century poet and scholar Amir Ali Shir Nawae after reconstruction was inaugurated in Herat city yesterday.
In the ceremony attended among others by Herat governor Daud Shah Saba and the advisor of the ministry of information & culture Jalal Nurani, it was said that the ministry for information and culture funded 3 million Afghanis for the reconstruction of the shrine.
In his speech, Jalal Nurani said that the ministry of information and culture attaches great importance to the reconstruction of historical monuments.
Meantime, the head of information and culture department of Herat, Aria Raufian in his address highlighted the various dimensions of the great scholar, Ali Shir Nawae and thanked the ministry of information and culture for rebuilding the shrine.
Naqibullah Faeq the head of youth affairs in the House of People and Herat governor Daud Shah Saba also talked on the occasion.
