KABUL (BNA): Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, in a meeting said that scholars have an important role in strengthening the government and maintaining unity among various groups in the country.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi made these statements at a meeting with Sheikh Khairullah, the head of the Ulema Council of Jowzjan province.
Sheikh Khairullah briefed Deputy Prime Minister on the province’s social, economic, educational, and cultural conditions.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khairullah stated that local officials in Jowzjan are working actively to safeguard public safety and provide fundamental amenities to the public.
He emphasized the attention of the Islamic Emirate in all areas, especially in education, and urged the leadership to focus on establishing schools, institutes, and orphanages in remote areas of the province.
Additionally, he requested more attention to creating job opportunities for the youth and addressing the issues of the mujahideen.
Mr. Hanafi emphasized that scholars play a crucial role in strengthening the system and unity among various classes of the people. He urged the country’s scholars and elders to not to hesitate their efforts in promoting national unity.
He also added that the Islamic Emirate officials are committed to ensuring security and providing facilities for the people, and they will address the proposed suggestions considering the available resources.
