Nily (BNA) Continuous heavy snowfalls caused blocking roads connecting the districts with Nily, capital city of Daikundi province.
According to Qurban Ali Urozgani, governor of Daikundi, all the roads including Kabul-Daikundi have been blocked due to heavy snowfalls and the people are facing with various problems.
Provincial director for public work in the province said their directorate’s workers are making efforts to reopen the roads, but snowfalls and cloudy weather prevented them from clearing the snow.
According to governor of Daikundi, in an avalanche’s incident in Sangtakht Banderbala district, a number of shopkeepers sustained injuries.
