Paroon (BNA) Six militants affiliated Taliban group were killed in a conflict by security troops in Kamdish District, Nooristan province last night.
Police senior commander in east of the country told BNA, six militants were killed in the clash.
He added, the insurgents were targeted while terrorist activities in parts of Kamdish district.
Another report says, security officials prevented from a series of blasts in Nooristan province.
According to reports, security officials discovered five mines from busy road of the province and prevented from deadly events.
They blamed Taliban for the failed planting mines.
Taliban in Afghanistan mostly plated bombs and mines on busy roads of provinces, which victimized innocent compatriots.
