Insurgents To Be Responsive To All Crimes, Gen. Dostum

Kabul (BNA) General Abdul Rashid Dostum, First Vice-President left yesterday Kabul to Jawzjan for review security situation in country’s north.
Upon arriving in Shiberghan, capital city of Jawzjan, Gen Dostum was received by provincial governor, security officials and members of provincial council, women and activists of Junbush-e-Islamic.
In a session held for receiving the first vice president in the province, governor of Jawzjan Lutfullah Azizi briefed related to security situation of the province, adding that currently security situation was better in capital city and other districts of the province. In his meeting with the provincial governor and elders of the province, the First Vice-President while condemning insurgents’ recent attacks on various parts of the country and pointing to recent insecurities in Faryab, Kunduz and other provinces added Afghan national security forces had the capability to repulse the insurgents’ any kinds of attacks.
He said they’ve defeated the insurgents in battlefield, adding that terrorists and enemies of Afghanistan would respond all their crimes and terrors and would be surpassed by the country’s security and defending forces. The First Vice-President also said he talked to the President related to the country’s security situation, asserting that he would go any parts of the country to surpass the enemies soon after the country’s President instructed. He assured all the people that the government would address all their demands and needs and the security of their areas would be soon maintained because the enemies of Afghanistan had no ways except surrendering to security forces or killing. In his speech, Gen. Dostum asserted that Taliban have committed any kinds of crimes in Kunduz and other parts of the country. In the session, local officials of security and defending forces also briefed in connection with security situation of various districts of Jawzjan and neighboring provinces.
