Kandahar (BNA) Following the destruction of a large bridge by Taliban in Kandahar, villagers say their travel to city has been difficult.
The bridge is located in Arghandab district and connects this district to Kandahar city.
Assailants affiliated Taliban- reportedly bombed parts of the bridge last night; so that traffic from this route is completely cut off.
Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai said BNA, the Taliban had destroyed the bridge with a bomb.
However, the governor of Kandahar has said he is trying to rebuild the bridge with the help of aid agencies.
