Kabul (BNA) NATO confirmed that a Taliban commander was arrested in Baghlan province.
The commander was arrested in an operation of Afghan and NATO forces from his hideout in the vicinity of Baghlan Jadeed district.
BNA quoting NATO reports, the commander had responsible leadership of tens of armed Taliban and attacks of this group in parts of Baghlan province.
NATO said the commander had rolled in terrorist incidents in several years in the province.
