Over 100 Afghan Migrants Forcibly Returned from Pakistan

 

KABUL (BNA): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has announced that over one hundred Afghan migrants were deported from Pakistan and returned to the country yesterday.

According to the Ministry’s Office statement today, these individuals were returned to the country via the Torkham route and, after registration with the Office of Refugees Affairs, were referred to assist the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the International Organization for Migration.

In the meantime, the Pakistan government has decided to commence the second round of deportations of Afghan migrants from the country, starting in the latter half of April.
