Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces conducting clearing operation yesterday killed 72 armed insurgents.
Interior ministry press office said BNA, Afghan security forces conducted the operations in Kunar, Nangarhar, Takhar, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Logar, Ghazni and Helmand province in which 72 armed insurgents killed, 18wounded, and another arrested and quantity of military equipment seized.
Also national police forces discovered and defused 12 mines from relevant areas of Jawzjan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Herat and Helmand provinces.
