Only Afghan Peace Plan Leads To Peace

Monday February 18, 2019

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan and the region access to permanent peace and stability when the countries of the region and beyond the region coordinate their efforts according to the programs of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan designed for the purpose.
BNA political affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes it is due to a Taliban delegation travel from Doha to Pakistan. The diplomatic sources in Islamabad and affiliated sourced to Taliban in Doha have said that the delegation in addition to Oran Khan Pakistan prime minister, will also visit American foreign ministry delegation led by Zalmay Khalilzad. The tour of Taliban delegation to Islamabad is different from other political delegation of the group; this seems as a person visit his own house. Because the leaders of Taliban are in Pakistan and Quetta and Peshawar councils are active there. What does the tour of the delegation from an outside Pakistan symbolic office mean, just for deviation of the world minds and repeating that Taliban are in Pakistan and that country has great influence on them? Although it would be difficult to accept such pretexts of Pakistan but it should be acknowledged that separate programs designed by other countries for political settlement Afghan problem cannot cause a stable and persistent peace in the region and Afghanistan.
With withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan, number of countries of the region particularly Pakistan and Gulf countries will try to have considerable influence in that country and this indicates that Afghanistan will inter in to a new chapter of rivalries among foreign countries.
The problem is this that foreign countries have no any program for peace in Afghanistan and the region but they are planning for their own interests.
Lack of program among outsiders became clear when a country organized Doha session, another in Abu-Dhobi the other in Moscow and the other decided to organize a session in Islamabad. Likewise, there are other plans for holding peace sessions in Germany, Tashkent and other places but certainly they will not help the process of peace. Competitions among certain countries have caused most of the sessions the aim of which was to drive to in to the region the rival country. For instance, Moscow session was aiming to neutralize the efforts of others. Likewise, Saudi Arabia that has complicated problems with Qatar is not contending with presence of Taliban in Doha.
Afghan people believe that the peace that comes through launching political and gambling, could not be stable and permanent. A real peace would possible only through practical and true programs of the countries and for accessing such a great aim, holding an international gathering required. It would be better the countries that really interested to peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region should put at the focus of their attentions, the peace plan of Afghan government which was presented in Brussels session.
